Each season we take a few of our beehives to the New Forest to forage on the heather heathland, where the bees produce a mono-floral honey from the Ling Heather flower.
This is a rich, heady, aromatic honey, offering a unique taste of the New Forest heathland. Affectionately referred to as the ‘British Manuka’, Ling Heather honey is a thixotropic (gel like) honey, amber in colour and deep in flavour. It’s a special one!
All our honey is unpasteurised and from our own bees. It is harvested with care and jarred by hand in small batches. It is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory.
Honey is not recommended for infants under 12 months of age.
Price is for one 113g jar.
